In order to create a website that meets the needs of users, I must first understand the target group. So, I collected everyone's opinions in various ways. For example, I communicated with my classmates and family members and listen to their suggestions on the my website. From these exchanges and feedbacks, I gradually understood everyone's needs, which laid an important foundation for the subsequent website design.

Based on the feedbacks, I gradually found out my goal: Creating a website that shows my technical skills and is accessible. So I have to balance visual appeal with content clarity and ensuring mobile responsiveness.

I explored various layout options through sketching and wireframing. And I found some ideas included modular content blocks, interactive elements for project details, and a consistent color scheme reflecting professionalism and creativity.

E.g. I designed card-based layouts to present projects, which allows users to focus on specific work without information overload.

In the Prototype step, I have doodling on papers to design the website layout, roughly placing the header, sections, and footer. And it helped me visualize how things would look. At the same time, in my Web Development class, I learned about prototyping. I used that knowledge to create a simple digital version of my site. I also focused on basic elements like color schemes and font choices to match my vision. This way, I could test and see what worked before going further.
